Dr. Bret H. Miller, M.D.
Dr. Bret Miller earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He continued his training with an internship at Methodist Hospital of Dallas, before going on to a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Creighton-Nebraska Health Foundation in Omaha. Dr. Miller then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research at the Houston Medical Center, Hermann Hospital and Rice University.
Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Miller has been in practice at the Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois since 2009. He has many years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon practicing in Texas providing care for athletes of all levels and performing major joint reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has been a team physician for several athletic programs at the Division I Level. His current practice emphasizes his extended training in total joints and revision reconstructive surgery. A presenter at numerous medical meetings around the country, Dr. Miller also is an author with work published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Miller holds outpatient clinics at Memorial Hospital every other Wednesday.
