Dr. Douglas Berson received his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency at Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, and completed a fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine Division of Allergy/Immunology. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine.  Dr. Berson has been part of the Memorial Hospital outpatient specialty staff since 1996. After over 20 years in private practice, he began practicing with Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis in 2015.

Dr. Douglas Berson enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide variety of allergic disorders.  He specializes in Allergy and Immunology, which is the evaluation and treatment of complex immunologic and allergic diseases including asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, recurrent respiratory infection, immune deficiency, drug allergy, bee sting venom anaphylaxis, food allergy and chronic urticaria. He sees patients at multiple locations in addition to Memorial Hospital, where he provides consultations for allergy and immunology disorders, performs allergy skin testing and allergy immunotherapy.

Dr. Berson holds outpatient clinics at Memorial Hospital every other Monday. Physician referrals are required.
