Dr. Charmaine Edwards, M.D.
Dr. Charmaine Edwards is a Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist who specializes in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disorder, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, Hepatitis C, and other liver diseases. Dr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Alcorn State University where she was valedictorian of her class and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Edwards earned her medical degree from Howard University Medical School and completed her residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University). In addition, Dr. Edwards served as a Gastroenterology Fellow at University of Rochester in New York.
Dr. Edwards holds outpatient clinics at Memorial Hospital every other Friday.
