Dr. Ricardo Rao, M.D.
Vascular Surgery

Dr. Ricardo Rao is a St. Louis native who received his medical degree at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He trained in general surgery at St. Louis University and completed a vascular surgical fellowship at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Rao is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the founder and president of Midwest Vascular and General Surgery, Inc. He is the medical director of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center Vascular Laboratory. Dr. Rao has provided specialty services at Memorial Hospital since1997. He has special interests in advanced endovascular surgery of the aorta, carotid and peripheral arteries.

Dr. Rao holds outpatient clinics at Memorial Hospital every other month on Thursday.
