Memorial Hospital of Chester celebrates National Hospital Week, May 6-12. Chester Mayor, Tom Page commemorated the week by signing a Mayoral Proclamation declaring that all residents of Chester celebrate the women and men who strive to improve our health care system. This week honors our nation’s largest profession; health care professionals. The week’s theme is “Caring is our Calling”, in celebration of the ways in which hospitals, health systems, and women and men who support the health and well-being of their communities through dedication and care from the heart, create a platform of advocating for high-quality patient care and to map out the way to improve our health care system.

Memorial Hospital is proud to provide critical, compassionate care to our community. Nurses of Memorial also celebrated Nurses Week during these day. Games, activities, and prizes are being awarded daily, with a BBQ and grand prize drawing on Friday to celebrate all of the health care professionals at Memorial.
