Dr. Matthew Gaeta specializes in Gastroenterology. He provides outpatient clinics every other week along with same day surgery procedures at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gaeta treats the following conditions: Heartburn Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Difficulty swallowing Abdominal pain Diarrhea Constipation Elevated liver enzymes Biliary disease Irritable bowel syndrome Inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease) Procedures: Colonoscopies EGDs (upper endoscopies) ERCPs (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - treats gallstones, strictures, leaks, and cancer.
