Popeye Pedalers
In 2017 a group of Memorial Hospital team members participated in PEDAL the Cause and helped in raising over 4 million in cancer research funds that was utilized by Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at Children’s Hospital for cancer research projects. The following year, Popeye Pedalers team was formed. The pandemic put the bikes in the garage for a while, but we are dusting them off and getting back on our bikes again to pedal for this great cause.
The inspiration for our team comes from our employees, patients, and families who have, and continue to battle this terrible disease. It is with research the key to curing cancer will be found. Pedal the Cause uses 100% of public donations to fund cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
