In a special reception on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 Memorial Hospital CEO, Brett Bollmann named Aaron Athmer Employee of the Quarter for the First Quarter 2018.
Athmer has worked at Memorial Hospital since 2008. Athmer is a Purchasing Clerk for the Materials Management Department. When asked what he likes most about working at Memorial Hospital, Athmer replied, “Everyone is so supportive and helpful and I feel as if I am a part of a huge family. I’ve got great co-workers and have made so many friends.” His co-workers write, “Aaron is always very pleasant, quick to respond to questions, willing to help and has been a real blessing to his department with the new computer system. He never complains about a task that is asked of him and is always trying to think of new ways to streamline processes to better the hospital.”
Athmer resides in Steeleville with his wife Katie and their daughter. When he isn’t working he spends time with his family and watching his litter girl become the sweetest and funniest person he knows. He also enjoys weather watching.
Athmer received a personal plaque, cash prize and parking spot of his choice for the next three months..
