City of Chester Color Fun Run

Family fun day promotes community bonding by bringing community members together for an unforgettable experience. 

This exciting day is full of family fun, physical activities, and friendly competitions. The day is packed with diverse activities that should appeal to many interests and age groups, from a fun run/walk to competitive sports tournaments or picnicking and kicking back enjoying the community. 

The color fun run/walk is a lively, non-competitive run or walk where participants are doused in safe, non-toxic colored powdered at each of the eight stations along the route. The goal is to celebrate health, happiness, and community with all participants finishing the course in a "moving rainbow" of color. For those not wishing to be “colored” you can safely navigate the path without being doused in color.
