Brett Bollmann, CEO at Memorial Hospital named Kimberly Fulmer Employee of the Quarter for the Fourth Quarter 2022 on January 9, 2023.

Fulmer, Health Information Management Associate, has worked at Memorial Hospital for three years. When asked what she likes most about working at Memorial, Fulmer replied, “I love the people that work here, the atmosphere feels homey to me and I love assisting our patients and my co-workers.” Memorial has held a special place in her heart since she was a child and was admitted to the hospital for a week with mono.

Her co-workers who nominated her wrote, “When we heard about this award, there was no questions who we would nominate. This employee has the best personality, is one of a kind, and is always so friendly to our patients, office staff and community. She is always willing to help anyone and goes above and beyond to help our patients. She is definitely an asset to our Hospital and the HIM Department! There have been many new faces in the HIM Department and this employee has been so generous in helping them grow in their career. She is proficient in her day-to-day work and excels at her position. If anyone is struggling or has a question this employee always has the answer. When it comes to relationships, her kind heart shines as she makes every individual feel special in their own way. We can confidently say that she is the glue of this team. We are thankful that this job has brought not only a co-worker, but someone to admire, which is why Kimmie Fulmer deserves the award!”

Fulmer resides in Rockwood, IL with her fur children, Kaiser and Winter. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family, friends and her 4-legged kids. She enjoys spending time outside taking walks and gardening. She also loves showing off her pups on Instagram with their homemade bandannas and bows.

Each quarter employees are encouraged to submit “star cards” for their co-workers who go above and beyond in their patient care or team work. Four random cards were drawn, Stephanie Guethle, CNA; Sharon Simpson, HR Payroll & Education Specialist; Stan Gaertner, Specialized Engineer Craftsman; and Kayla Bert, Admitting Representative, were the winners of a monetary award for their star nominations.
