Rece Portell, PA-C

Rece works with Dr. Fredrick Ochieng’ as a member of the Prairie Cardiovascular team in O’Fallon Illinois. She will join Dr. Ochieng’ in Memorial Hospital’s specialty clinic starting on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Rece received a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois at Carbondale in August 2025. Rece is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates (NCCPA) and a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
