Dr. M. Adil Sheikh, M.D.

Cardiology

Dr. M. Adil Sheikh joined the Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic Team in February 2026. He specializes in interventional cardiology with expertise in treating complex coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions. Dr. Sheikh earned his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He then joined the Department of Internal Medicine faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In 2024, Dr. Sheikh completed fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sheikh joined the Prairie Cardiovascular team of cardiologist at the O’Fallon, Illinois location in 2025. He offers outpatient cardiology clinics on Mondays.
