Joetta McFarland receives Employee of the Quarter
In a special reception on Thursday, October 24, 2019 Memorial Hospital CEO, Brett Bollmann named Joetta McFarland Employee of the Quarter for Third Quarter 2019.
Joetta has worked at Memorial Hospital for over 5 years. She is currently an operating room RN. When asked what she likes most about working at Memorial Hospital, McFarland replied, “It is like a family. When it matters we pull together.” Her co-workers write, “Joetta is patient, kind, and compassionate towards all patients, patient families and co-workers. She is hardworking and has stepped up to fulfill duties of the department without being asked. She is very thorough and knows each patient very well and always makes them feel comfortable. She sets aside time to meet one-on-one with patients to ensure the best experience and will arrange to come in early or stay late if it makes things more convenient for the patient. If anyone needs help – she steps in without hesitation or questions, she is an example to all that work at Memorial Hospital.”
Joetta resides in Chester with her husband Michael and son Aden. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, music theatre, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a dog lover and helps foster dogs for the Randolph County Humane Shelter while caring for three of her family’s own dogs. McFarland received a personal plaque, cash prize and parking spot of his choice for the next three months.
