Updated: Dec 16, 2021

Memorial Hospital is the honored recipient of recognition from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for being part of the Illinois team of healthcare providers improving the quality of healthcare in rural areas. Illinois was ranked as one of the top 10 performers in the United States. The 2019 Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) award acknowledges programs with the highest reporting rates as well as those with exceptional levels of improvement among critical access hospitals during the past year. Memorial's data driven quality efforts and the sharing of best practices among all of their peers, within the State of Illinois and throughout the country, were recognized. Angela Charlet, Sr. Director of Quality, Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) presented the certificate on behalf of HRSA and stated, "This recognition truly reflects the efforts that your hospital puts forward in quality improvement each and every day in your rural community."

Memorial is honored to be part of a team of Illinois hospitals who are driving quality performance to the highest achievable standards.
