Jamie began as a physician assistant in 2009, practicing as a member of the clinic team of family medicine providers for over 12 years. In 2025, Jamie rejoined Memorial’s Rural Health Clinic as a convenient care provider. Her clinical interests include evaluating sudden or urgent health concerns, helping patients decide the right level of care, and teaching people how to better understand their health. She values providing care that is efficient, reassuring, and centered on each patient’s needs, with smooth follow-up to primary care when needed.

She shares that the most rewarding part of her work is building trust with patients and helping them navigate both immediate issues and ongoing health needs. Whether she is treating an illness, easing someone’s worries, or offering clear next steps, Jamie strives to listen closely and provide guidance that helps patients feel supported and confident.

Jamie considers one of her greatest accomplishments to be the strong, lasting trust she has built with both patients and colleagues. Being voted by her coworkers as having the best bedside manner was especially meaningful to her, affirming her commitment to empathy and patient-centered care.

A longtime resident of the region, Jamie appreciates the strong sense of community and the balance of small-town connection with access to excellent healthcare resources. She values the teamwork among physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff at Memorial Hospital. Jamie looks forward to continuing to care for this community and contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused Convenient Care team.
