In a special reception on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 Memorial Hospital CEO, Brett Bollmann named Bernie Ernst Employee of the Quarter for Second Quarter 2019.
Bernie has worked at Memorial Hospital since September 2018. He is currently a full-time Environmental Services Floor Tech. When asked what he likes most about working at Memorial Hospital, Ernst replied, “Learning new things and there’s a lot of great people that help out when they can. I really appreciate being a part of this great team.” His co-workers write, “Bernie is such a hard worker and also takes pride in his work. We can call on him anytime and he will always come right away to help. He is always kind and polite to staff and patients. He always apologizes for the extra noise that is caused during his working shift and is always considerate of others.”
Ernst resides in Chester and in his down time he enjoys being outside camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time with family. Ernst received a personal plaque, cash prize and parking spot of his choice for the next three months.
